Brit Barnhouse is an undergraduate writing studies student at the University of Washington Tacoma. When not writing about the ever-blurred lines between animals and humans, she can be found hoping for close encounters with whales in the Puget Sound, giving her dogs belly rubs, or tossing treats out to the neighborhood crows.

Marcela is a UWT undergraduate finishing her bachelor’s in Writing Studies with a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies. Her favorite pastimes include perusing used bookshops for weird books to read, collecting oldies Goth rock albums, and watching cult classic horror movies in the dark.

Beck is a student pursuing a degree and postsecondary teaching career in literature at the University of Washington Tacoma. They are a Shakespeare nerd, a lover of editing and writing essays, and a consumer of scattered facts and tidbits. They like experimenting with poetry and performance.

Angelica Hernandez Visual Arts Editor
Angelica is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Cultures, and Communications at the University of Washington Tacoma. She enjoys expressing herself through creative writing and various art mediums. Her biggest post-graduation dream is to get out of her comfort zone and move to another country to be able to explore what lies beyond the life she knows best.
